Boston is very sacred place for great art institutions. Through schools, museums, galleries, and events it propels. I have spent many hours embedded in the rooms upon rooms and exhibits and art nights. I was always memorized by the Asian style, both past and present. I was especially fond of the simplicity of the line used in such precise placement to form a complex and relaxed composition no matter the subject. Pondering these great Asian pieces, I would take pictorial notes on technique and style. After many moments of frustration and focus, I created a tribute to the style translated by my hand and mind.
The composition changed drastically over time and upon looking back on the original idea very few similarities occur. She transformed and moved the pen, she shaped the work. A never overused G2-07 on silk paper, atop floral wallpaper and recycled brown bag.
